OUR HISTORY
Following World War II yellow mixers began delivering ready mix concrete as Palmetto Concrete and C.Y. Thomas and son.
Greenwood Ready Mix employees Keith Roberts, Sprunt Mabe, and Bill Bailey purchased three of the nine concrete plants and formed Carolina Concrete Co. Inc.
Each of the three plants were modernized with newer production equipment. Chain driven four and eight yard mixers were replaced with 10 yard hydraulic concrete mixers powered by Mack.
